I’m Cate, and I’m a children’s author, writer, mother, and pastor’s wife. I created this blog to connect with other women in faith and to share love and encouragement through the Word of God.

Motherhood is lonely. Our world can be lonely. We’ve replaced genuine friendships and relationships with artificial ones through screens, and we long for deep connections that are real and meaningful.

Our souls crave nourishment, and true nourishment is found in the promises of Scripture. After longing for a place where I could really gain growth and encouragement in my faith and struggling to find something that fed me the way I crave, I decided to start this blog as a means of diving deeper in the Word for myself, and to help you.
